Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Luma Uni AI platform operated by Luma Uni AI ("Luma Uni AI," "we," "our," or "us"). Luma Uni AI includes the image studio, asset library, APIs, marketing site, and any other products or services that reference these Terms (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing credits or subscriptions, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and Acceptance

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) or have parental or guardian consent.
  • If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity.
  • If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Luma Uni AI lets you generate and edit images using AI:

  • Text-to-image generation and reference-based edits.
  • Asset storage, download, and sharing controls.
  • Usage tracking, credits, and subscription management.
  • API access where enabled.

We may add, modify, or remove features over time. We may also update model availability or outputs as providers change.

3. Accounts and Security

  • Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • Do not share login credentials or attempt to bypass usage limits.

4. Plans, Credits, and Payments

  • Usage may require credits purchased via subscription plans or one-time credit packs unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Subscription plans renew automatically until canceled through your billing portal or payment provider workflow.
  • If you cancel a subscription, cancellation will normally take effect at the end of the current paid billing period. We do not promise prorated refunds unless required by law.
  • Subscription credits refresh each billing cycle. Unused subscription credits may reset, expire, or otherwise become unavailable when the next cycle begins or when a subscription ends.
  • One-time credit packs are permanent credits and do not expire while your account remains active, unless removed because of a refund, chargeback, fraud review, abuse investigation, or legal requirement.
  • Prices, credit costs, taxes, and supported payment methods are shown on the pricing page and may change at any time before purchase.
  • Payments are processed by third-party billing providers. Failed, reversed, or disputed payments may suspend access to paid features.

5. Refunds, Chargebacks, and Billing Disputes

  • If a generation fails after credits are deducted, we may automatically restore or refund the affected credits to your account.
  • Except where required by law, subscription charges and one-time credit purchases are generally non-refundable once billing has been processed or credits have been delivered.
  • We may review duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, or clear service failures on a case-by-case basis.
  • If a payment is reversed, refunded, or charged back, we may revoke associated credits, suspend affected features, or limit account access while the dispute is resolved.

6. Content, Rights, and License

6.1 Your Inputs

  • You retain ownership of the images and other content you upload.
  • You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit your inputs solely to provide the Service, maintain safety, and fulfill support obligations.
  • You confirm you have all rights needed to upload and use your inputs, including any likeness or IP rights.

6.2 Generated Outputs

  • Subject to these Terms, you own the images generated from your prompts and inputs.
  • You are responsible for reviewing outputs and ensuring your use complies with applicable law and policies.
  • We may store thumbnails, metadata, or low-resolution previews to operate the Service, maintain history, improve performance, and support moderation or troubleshooting.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload or generate content that is illegal, harmful, or abusive.
  • Create content that violates privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to produce deepfakes or impersonations without consent.
  • Reverse engineer the Service or access it through automated abuse.
  • Use the Service to distribute malware or disrupt systems.

We may review prompts or outputs to enforce these rules and may suspend or terminate access for violations.

8. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including software, branding, and model integrations, is owned by Luma Uni AI or its licensors.
  • You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service except as permitted by law.
  • Feedback you provide may be used without restriction or compensation.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers, including payment processors, storage providers, analytics services, authentication providers, and AI model providers. Their separate terms and policies may apply when you use related features.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, fail to pay applicable fees, create legal or security risk, or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or inappropriate for your intended purpose. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before use.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luma Uni AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and provide notice by reasonable means when required.
